After their incredible on-screen chemistry shone through in ‘Knives Out’, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas are set to hit the screen together again in 2023.

The duo will work together as part of the upcoming film commissioned by AppleTV+ entitled ‘Ghosted’.

Their work in the 2019 mystery film with Daniel Craig as a flamboyant detective received acclaim, and it was the first time we had seen the two together.

They followed this up with another joint appearance in the 2022 release, ‘The Gray Man’.

‘Ghosted’ is believed to be in production and will hit the streaming service at some point in 2023, though there has been no announcement of an accurate release date yet.

The film was announced back in 2021, with Evans iniitally set to star alongside Scarlett Johansson. However, the ‘Black Widow’ star had to drop out due to scheduling cutbacks.

Ghosted will be directed by Dexter Fletcher

Dexter Fletcher, known for his work on ‘Rocketman’, is due to direct the film, and the script was written by the brains behind ‘Deadpool’, Rhett Reese.

This will be the latest giant role for De Armas and her burgeoning career, with the actor having also been in ‘Blonde’ and the latest chapter of the 007 films, ‘No Time to Die’.

Her chemistry with Evans was clear to fans of ‘Knives Out’, with the duo having some rather intense scenes together near the climax of the film.

Whilst the exact nature of their roles in ‘Ghosted’ hasn’t yet been officially released, they are expected to form a couple.

As the Daily Mail pointed out, this is to be the first time the duo have acted in a romantic relationship with the other, and it will be fascinating to see if their chemistry remains or if the dynamic shifts.

“That’s a picture wrap on Ghosted, thank you so much to the entire cast and crew for all your hard work,” Evans wrote on an Instagram post from May 2022.

“It was an absolute joy working with you every day. A special thank you to Dexter Fletcher and Ana de Armas, I’d make a hundred movies with you two if I could. Thanks for all the laughter.”

Adrien Brody, Amy Sedaris, Tate Donovan and Lizzy Broadway will also star in the film.
