The 53-year-old was born, as they say, glued to a Super 8mm camera. From the time he was young he experimented with different types of lenses to do one thing: tell stories. There’s always someone around who can pass me one if someone needs me,” he explained in an interview for ‘The Hollywood Reporter’.

During his time as a student, at just 19 years old, he met the woman of his life: producer Emma Thomas. The two collaborated in his first steps in the world of cinema and, between lights and cameras, the spark arose. In fact, together they have a production company and four children with whom they live in Los Angeles.
