Could Prince Harry be stripped of his royal titles?

A new royal book claims discussions of stripping Harry of his royal titles have already taken place.

British journalist Robert Jobson published a new royal book on Thursday titled ‘King Charles III: Our King: the Man and the Monarch Revealed’, in which he states stripping Harry of his Duke of Sussex title “has been discussed at the highest level.”

The book features statements from palace insiders and senior aides, many of whom often joke that Harry is a “victim to Stockholm syndrome” and is a “hostage” to his wife Meghan.

King Charles is against revoking Harry’s title

While many senior royals are in favor of axing Harry’s royal titles, King Charles is against the idea due to his “enduring love for his son.”

It’s also reported that Charles is “saddened by the widening gulf” between him and Harry and wishes to see his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, more often.

However, it’s expected that Charles will come under increasing pressure if Harry and Meghan continue to “attack the monarchy.”

Insiders toss the blame around for the royal family fallout

While some palace insiders blame Meghan Markle for the “fallout” between Harry and the royal family, others blame Harry.

“Some blame Meghan Markle for the fallout, ignoring the fact that Harry seems to be the driving force in everything that happened,” said a senior aide.

“There was a point when officials joked Harry was the victim of Stockholm syndrome, and he was Meghan’s hostage, but now most just feel Harry has turned his back on everything he has known.”

Adding fuel to the fire

The drama surrounding Harry and members of the royal family has only increased following the release of Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ in January, as well as the Netflix documentary series, “Harry & Meghan.”

“The Palace isn’t publicly commenting about ‘Spare,’ but relationships between the royals and Harry have been torn to shreds,” a source told US Weekly in January.
