Bruce Willis and his family made sure to celebrate his 68th birthday this Sunday, including all members of the joined Moore/Willis family.

His five daughters, current wife Emma Heming Willis and Demi Moore all sang him happy birthday in a video posted to Instagram by Demi.

“Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today,” Moore captioned the video. “Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them.”

The video shows Bruce smiling and fist-pumping as his family cheer him on, before he blows out the candles, followed by a chorus of “Hip-hip hooray!”

Sentimental birthday posts from the whole family

The family has been celebrating holidays and birthdays together for quite some time, with Demi even attending the couple’s wedding back in 2009. Bruce and Demi have three adult daughters together (Rumer, Scout and Tallulah) and he has two younger daughters (Mabel and Evelyn) with Emma.

Some of his daughters had their own separate posts about their father, as well as his current wife Emma, who posted an emotional video, opening up about her sadness.

“Today is not necessarily an easy day, because it’s a day full of so deep love, and our grief really does show us the depth of our loving for someone,” daughter Scout LaRue Willis wrote in her post.

“So I’m trying to be with both today. Grief is a price I’ll always pay to know what it is to feel such love.

“I’m sending my love to anyone who has ever felt the capacity stretched by the enormity of love and humanness of grief. I love you.”

This is the first celebration after the news of Willis’ diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, or FTD, which was released by the family last month.

The caption read: “Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces.

“While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”
