Taylor Swift fans were quick to single out a moment from her ‘Eras Tour’ show in Nashville that may hint at a relationship with Matty Healy.
The rumors surrounding the reported romance between Taylor Swift and Matty Healy show no signs of slowing down, especially after her first ‘Eras Tour’ show in Nashville on Friday night.
Fans were sent into a frenzy when The 1975 frontman was spotted in the VIP tent while Swift performed on stage at Nissan Stadium.
However, it’s a cryptic message that Swift mouthed while looking in the camera that really has fans wondering if the rumors are true.
Did Swift and Healy mouth secret messages to one another?
At one point during her concert, Swift looked into the camera and said: “This is about you, you know who you are. I love you.”
The moment wasn’t lost on fans, especially since Healy mouthed the same words during a performance in the Philippines on May 3.
This comes after The Sun reported that the two musicians had started dating.
“She and Matty are madly in love,” a source told the outlet. “It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost 10 years ago but timings just didn’t work out.”
Swift and Healy were first linked with one another back in 2014 after he was spotted wearing a white T-shirt with the ‘1989′ cover artwork during a show.
Swift later attended a 1975 concert in Los Angeles, and was also seen wearing a 1975 tank top.
Healy recently added fuel to dating rumors
Since the report came out, there has been no shortage of speculation over whether the couple are actually going out.
Healy did little to stop the frenzy during a recent The 1975 show in the Philippines.
The band played ‘She’s American’ from their 2016 album, ‘I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It’.
Before singing the first verse, Healy shouted ‘she sure is!’, a move that wasn’t lost on fans.
“DID MATTY JUST PLAYED [sic] SHE’S AMERICAN???? IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DATING RUMORS BETWEEN HIM AND TAYLOR SWIFT????” wrote one fan on Twitter alongside a video of the band performing the song.
This comes after fans noted that Healy’s mother, Denise Welch, posted a series of pictures on her Instagram back in January. One of the pictures featured Swift, who made a surprise appearance at the 1975′s show at The 02 Arena.
