Diddy news latest, rapper slams ‘witch hunt’ after federal raids on properties
As controversy continues to swirl around the Hip Hop mogul, his lawyers have now given their first comments about the case, declaring his innocence.

Following raids on several of his properties by federal agents earlier this week, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs now finds himself in the middle of multiple lawsuits in which he has been accused of sex trafficking. His lawyers have now pushed back.
P. Diddy’s lawyers say he is innocent
In a statement to the media, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyers made it clear that not only was their client innocent, but he was also the victim of an excessive level of force while search warrants were executed. “Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” said attorney Aaron Dyer. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”

He said the raids on the U.S. homes of Sean Combs, aka P. Diddy, used a “gross overuse of military-level force” and accused them of being “a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits. pic.twitter.com/VNYwybhEUE
Dyer went on to explain that the Bad Boy Records founder - who is currently facing five lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault - “was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities” throughout the experience. “Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way,” Dyer said. The comments follow on from reports earlier this week which also included aerial footage of Combs’ two sons, Justin Combs, 30, and Christian ‘King’ Combs, 25, handcuffed outside their home in Beverly Hills and having a conversation with authorities. “This unprecedented ambush - paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence - leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,” Dyer added.
Where is P. Diddy now?
According to TMZ’s video, the rapper turned-producer was most recently seen in Miami, more specifically, the airport. Indeed, the outlet posted footage of P. Diddy pacing around outside of Miami’s Opa Locka Executive Airport in what was his first public appearance since his properties were raided. TMZ reported that eyewitnesses saw him and some others getting stopped and questioned by the feds, however, the interaction does not appear to lead to an arrest.
Further to that, it is understood that Diddy and his crew were stopped at Opa Locka where he was about to board a private jet when Homeland Security arrived. Officials appear to still be investigating the crimes that Diddy’s been accused of committing, including sexual assault and sex trafficking, but a warrant for his arrest has yet to be issued. Reports also indicate that Diddy’s flight was bound for Antigua but simply as a layover. It remains unclear as to where Combs is at this point in time.

“There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name,” were the words with which Dyer ended his statement.
