Don Lemon was recently spotted out and about as he looks to move on following his abrupt exit from CNN on Monday.

Lemon kept a low profile

The 57-year-old was seen wearing a black sweater, jeans, a black hat and sunglasses while stepping out with his partner Tim Malone and their three dogs on Monday.

Lemon checked his phone from time to time as the couple headed down the street.

He smirked while dodging questions from reporters on Tuesday while wearing a beanie and sunglasses.

Lemon also wore a cream-colored jacket and black slacks as he walked down 11th Avenue with Malone and their three dogs.

The appearances shows Lemon isn’t keeping a low-profile after he was abruptly let go by CNN on Monday.

Lemon on his sudden termination

“I was informed this morning by my agent that I have been terminated by CNN,” Lemon wrote on Monday regarding his sudden termination.

“I am stunned. After 17 years at CNN I would have thought that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly.

“At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network. It is clear that there are some larger issues at play.”

CNN fired back at those claims, writing: “Don Lemon’s statement about this morning’s events is inaccurate. He was offered an opportunity to meet with management but instead released a statement on Twitter.”

Either way, the move will come at a cost for the network, with reports suggesting he’s owed as much as $25 million after signing a new contract back in September that runs until 2026.

It’s also been reported that Lemon has hired Los Angeles-based entertainment lawyer Bryan Freedman.

The co-founder of Freeman & Taitelman LLLP has represented several high-profile media personalities in multimillion-dollar disputes over the years, including Chris Cuomo and Megyn Kelly.

Kelly’s reaction to Lemon’s termination

Kelly seemed to find out about Lemon’s firing while recording her podcast, ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’.

The 52-year-old noted that while she isn’t Lemon’s fan, she didn’t think the situation was handled well by CNN.

“No, no, he’s, he’s not wrong,” Kelly said during the April 24 episode. “I mean, everybody knows I’m not exactly Don Lemon’s fan, but he’s not wrong … if that’s true.”

She noted that if Lemon “was just told by his agent he was fired and the network didn’t have the balls to tell him man to man. I mean, that’s just classless.

“He’s got a right to complain about that.”
