Earlier in the year, Beyonce announced a tour for her latest album, ‘Renaissance’, and since May she’s been wowing her global fans.

Remember at the start of the year when Beyonce took to Instagram to announce that her long-awaited ‘Renaissance’ world tour? It seems like a lifetime ago! The global show then began in Stockholm on May 10, and will continue until the end of September.

In her official announcement post, the multiple Grammy Award winner shared a photo of her riding a disco ball horse with a matching cowboy hat, which is similar to the cover art of Renaissance. The photo is accompanied by a simple caption, “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR 2023.” The bulk of new tour information comes from her tour website.

The ‘Renaissance’ world tour began in Europe, followed by dates in Canada and the U.S. This is Beyonce’s first tour since her 2018 ‘On The Run II Tour’ co-headlined with Jay Z. It is also her first solo tour since 2016 when she toured for her album ‘Lemonade.’

‘Renaissance’ nominations, reviews and criticism

Since the release of ‘Renaissance,’ Beyonce has made a few changes to the album. She replaced lyrics in ‘Heated’ due to criticisms of ableism. She removed the interpolation of Kelis’ ‘Milkshake’ on ‘Energy’ after Kelis claimed she was not informed of the usage of her music on the album.
