The amfAR gala, a charity event held as part of the Cannes Film Festival with the aim of raising funds for the fight against AIDS, brought together a cast of celebrities and well-known faces who got all the flashes thanks to their daring and raved about looks. Eva Longoria, Winnie Harlow, Heidi Klum, Helena Christensen, Cindy Bruna, Sara Sampaio and Georgina Rodríguez were among the many celebrities who took part of the limelight on this spectacular red carpet.

The latter, Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, wore a gold dress in the run-up to the gala but later exchanged it for a black sequined one designed by the Tunisian Ali Karaoui. This was not the highlight of Georgina’s outfit however. The cameras focused on the impressive jewel on her neck. It was a pink tear-drop choker necklace from the Swiss firm Chopard, one of the most prestigious jewelery houses in the world.

The price of Georgina’s incredible necklace

A ruby accessory set with pavé diamonds, highlighted by the central 65-carat rubellite. But how much does this piece of jewelery cost? Its price is not intended for all types due to its remarkable value in the market. Initially, the company put the product up for sale for around 120,000 euros, equivalent to roughly $128,000. However, this accessory is not available for purchase, and therefore its value has increased to one million euros, according to The Sun.

Georgina has not been the only celebrity who has worn this exclusive jewel. Rihanna caused a sensation with this piece at the Diamond Ball gala, which raises funds for charities and charitable purposes. Jane Fonda also wore it on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, but that was ten years ago.
