Glen Powell and Gigi Paris reportedly break up amidst cheating rumors
The couple reportedly broke up weeks before rumors of an alleged romance between Powell and costar Sydney Sweeney.
With a slurry of rumors of a budding romance happening between Glen Powell and Costar Syndey Sweeney, Powell, and his longtime girlfriend have reportedly split. However, new reports claim that the two called it off long before romance allegedly started between the two costars.
Paris and Powell reported broke up in early April after three years of dating. Just this week Paris unfollowed both Sweeney and Powell on Instagram before posting a cryptic picture and caption that many believe is confirming the split.
The Instagram breakup announcement
“Know your worth & onto the next,” she captioned a video of herself walking down a street in New York City on Wednesday.
According to a source for Entertainment Tonight, the couple called it quits earlier this month, saying that “the breakup was amicable.” The source also added that “Glen is single and is not dating his costar Sydney Sweeney, who is still engaged to Jonathan Davino.”
Sydney Sweeney has been reportedly engaged to Jonathan Davino, an heir to a pizza dynasty and owner of a device technology and packaging company. The two started dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022.
Their PDA continues
According to TMZ, as of this week, the two are still engaged despite rumors of Powell’s and Sweeney’s newfound romance. The rumors began to stir after several shots of the two packing on the PDA on the set of their upcoming movie ‘Anyone but You’ began to circulate.
Earlier this week, the two attended ComicCon 2023 in Las Vegas, where Sweeney revealed that she affectionately nicknamed Powell “Top Gun” because of his previous role in ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’
“We love seeing ourselves on the big screen,” Powell explained, according to People, before the first trailer for their upcoming film played.
“Oh, please, Top Gun,” the ‘Euphoria’ star said in response, prompting Powell to tell the convention attendees, “I love when she calls me that.”
