Gotham Awards 2024: Full list of winners by category
“Sing Sing” and “Nickel Boys” were multiple winners at the Gotham Awards, presented to the makers and stars of independent films.
Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Demi Moore and Pamela Anderson were among the big-name stars in attendance as the Gotham Awards 2024 were handed out at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Monday (December 2).
The 34th annual awards, run by the Gotham Film and Media Institute, are presented to the makers and stars of independent films.
While the Hollywood A-Listers mentioned above were arguably were the main attractions on the red carpet, none of them picked up any awards.
“Sing Sing” and “Nickel Boys multiple winners at Gotham Awards
Kidman (“Babygirl), Moore (”The Substance) and Anderson (“The Last Showgirl) were nominated in the Outstanding Lead Performance category but lost out to Colman Domingo, the winner for his performance in ”Sing Sing".
Greg Kwedar’s drama film was one of two nominees to win multiple awards, as Domingo’s co-star Clarence Maclin took home the Outstanding Supporting Performance prize.
RaMell Ross and Brandon Wilson also picked up Gotham Awards for Best Director and Breakthrough Performer for their involvement in historical drama “Nickel Boys”.
“A Different Man”, a black comedy psychological thriller starring Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve and Adam Person, was named Best Feature, while “All We Imagine as Light,” written directed by Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia, won Best International Feature.
