Actress Halle Berry took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter Nahla Aubry’s birthday with a rare photo set. The 56-year-old actress shared three photos of her now 15-year-old daughter throughout her life.

The first photo was a black-and-white shot of Berry and Nahla from when she was younger. The old picture from her childhood was placed in a picture frame that has “Love You More” written on it.

The second picture shows Nahla with her back to the camera looking into the ocean. The final photo showed the teenager sitting with her legs crossed on a white bench with a hat covering her face.

“One of the greatest gifts the universe has given me is my daughter, Nahla. She is the sun that never fades and the moon that never wanes!” said the Oscar-winning actress.

She continued: “Please join me in wishing her a happy 15th Birthday today! I love you sweet angel”

Berry rarely posts pictures of her daughters on social media, with one of her last posts of her family coming back in 2018. The actress posted a photo of the three of them sitting together with their backs to the camera.

How many children does Halle Berry have?

Halle Berry has two children, Nahla Ariela Aubry and Maceo Robert Martinez. She had her eldest, Nahla, with ex Gabriel Aubry in 2008. The couple ended up calling it quits in 2010.

Her second child is with Olivier Martinez, who she married in 2013. They welcomed their child together in October of the same year. Halle and the French actor divorced after three years in 2016.

Her thoughts on parenting

The ‘Moonfall’ actress has previously talked about what it’s like being a parent. In 2019, she opened up at the New York City premiere of ‘John Wick: Chapter 3.’

“You’re so much more ready to be a parent after 40 than when you’re 20,” she explains. “You know yourself better.”

Halle had both of her children after her 40th birthday.

The ‘Catwoman’ actress continued: “You’ve done a lot of things for yourself, selfishly.

“When you wait until later in life, you can really put your kids forward in a more meaningful way.”
