Harry Styles put on quite a show this week in Los Angeles after he accidentally ripped his leather pants on stage. To make matters worse Jennifer Aniston was in the audience, whom he had previously described as his very first celebrity crush.

The wardrobe malfunction happened while the former ‘One Direction’ band member was performing ‘Music for a Sushi Restaurant’, when a dance move caused the seam of his pants to split right open in the crotch area.

After displaying a shocked face to the crowd, the singer gracefully covered the tear with his hands and rolled his eyes at his bandmates. Styles, in good spirits, finished the performance with a towel hiding the rip.

Styles may be becoming a pro in managing wardrobe issues, as this isn’t the first time it’s happened. Just over a month ago in December 2022, Styles tore open his jumpsuit doing a series of high kicks in a concert in Brazil. He then covered up the tear with a pride flag and continued on.

Other famous faces in the crowd

Aniston wasn’t the only celebrity in the crowd to bear witness to the mishap. Audience members included Kylie Jenner, Trevor Noah, and Ellen DeGeneres. An interview with DeGeneres on her TV show two years ago is actually where Styles first announced his childhood crush on Aniston.

The confession was revealed in a round of ‘Burning Questions’, a segment on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ where she rapidly fired questions and the guest responded quickly.

The pair’s previous interactions

Although Aniston has never publicly commented on Styles’ confession, she has made references to the singer in the past. Back in 2021, Aniston was photographed for ‘InStyle Magazine’ wearing the same pantsuit that Style wore to the 2021 Brit Awards earlier that year.

Aniston playfully acknowledged the similar suits by sharing a post of the two photos side by side on Instagram with the comment: “Just call me Harriet Styles.”

The pair seem to take fashion advice from each other as Styles was photographed wearing the same white graphic T-shirt Aniston wore in the iconic sitcom ‘Friends’ years earlier. Aniston also referenced this on her Instagram with a story of the two t-shirts side by side.
