Although they dated for over two years, it looks as though Halsey and Alev Aydin have decided to go their separate ways.

According to court documents obtained by various sources, it looks as though the couple have called it quits.
It’s reported that Halsey is seeking primary custody of their one-year-old, son, Ender. However, they have requested joint legal custody and joint expenses with visitation rights.
While it’s unclear why Halsey and Aydin have decided to go their separate ways, TMZ reports the split is amicable.
The couple were first spotted together picking up art supplies back in October 2020, though it is unclear when they officially started dating.
Halsey told Allure the following year that the two had been friends for quite some time.
“Alev and I have been really good friends for four years,” they explained in the interview.
“And when the stars aligned, our relationship became romantic and it was pretty evident that he and I were both like, ‘Oh, my gosh! You’re the person I’m supposed to start a family with.’ A lot of people had opinions about that.”
In January 2021, Halsey announced they were expecting their first child, while also confirming their relationship with Aydin.
“Surprise! 🍼🌈👼🏻,” the singer captioned a trio of pictures that showed off their baby bump.
The post was later shared by Aydin on his Instagram story, while commenting: “Heart so full, I love you sweetness.”
Halsey said having a child changed their life
Ender was later born on July 14, 2021, with Halsey revealing that becoming a parent had been life-changing.
“Something really amazing happened when I did have my son, which is the absolute, glorious eradication and death of my ego. Nothing matters when I go home to him,” they told Billboard.
“He thinks I’m perfect and great and everything.”
Halsey and Aydin posted a picture on social media as recently as Valentine’s Day 2023, with the film producer calling his partner “my sweet Valentine.”
Prior to Aydin, Halsey was previously linked with names like Evan Peters, G-Eazy and Machine Gun Kelly.
