Heidi Klum shines as work for ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ begins
Supermodel Heidi Klum is juggling many projects, and was recently seen gearing up work for this year’s season of ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’.
Heidi Klum looks to be hard at work on her latest project, appearing on the set of this year’s ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ Monday looking sleek and ready to shoot.
The show, which is currently filming in Las Vegas, has been running since the supermodel established it in 2006. Klum herself has been the host ever since.
Klum, whose career kicked off in 1992 when she beat 25,000 other contestants in a modeling competition and scored a contract with Metropolitan Models New York, sported a cheetah-print and camouflage jumpsuit and no-nonsense tan heeled boots.
The ‘America’s Got Talent’ host brought along her upbeat attitude, joining the cast in some lighthearted dance moves while sporting a big smile and her customary long, straight blonde hair loose around her shoulders.
Heidi Klum’s many business ventures
Klum has had an incredibly successful career, having been on the cover of Sports Illustrated and Vogue internationally.
The supermodel’s string of successful ventures also include hosting the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show several times, as well as acting roles in ‘Ella Enchanted’ and ‘Parks and Recreation’.
Klum commented on her work on ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ in an interview with ET Canada last year, where she discussed the positive changes she has been striving for in the modeling industry.
“What I’ve done for the first time [is] I opened the door for casting for all women,” Klum said. “So, it doesn’t matter how old, how short, how tall, you know, what the size is.”
“So that’s kind of something that I’m really excited about because, you know, in fashion, a lot of things have changed,” the mother of four continued. “So, now I opened the door also to older models because they should also not be forgotten.”
Heidi Klum prioritizes family
Heidi Klum has recently said in an interview with Jennifer Hudson that despite her busy career, the 49-year-old is still considering expanding her family.
Klum revealed that she has waited a long time to have a fifth child, and that she is open to the prospect.
“Now I waited a long time, so maybe,” Klum upon being asked if having another child was a possibility. “It depends what day it is, sometimes I’m here, sometimes here, you know?”
