With more than 63 million Instagram followers, Buenos Aires-born Georgina Rodriguez is an influencer, a model, a mother, a sister, and a successful businesswoman... A larger audience became acquainted with Rodriguez last year after Netflix released a mini-series that followed her life called ‘I am Georgina.’

After the success of the first season, it was approved for a second, which aired on Netflix in Spain in March of this year. For those who are curious... Cristiano Ronaldo, Rodriguez’s partner, does make a few appearances throughout the series.

The couple have been together since 2017, after they met in a Gucci store in Madrid’s exclusive Golden Mile where the influencer had been working as a sales assistant.

Gio and CR7 family matters

Georgina has five children with her partner, Cristiano Ronaldo, and is the stepmother of his first child (Cristiano Junior), raising the child as her own without involvement from the child’s biological mother. In June 2017, the couple welcomed twins Mateo and Eva via surrogacy. The couple are not legally married.

In November 2017, Rodríguez gave birth to their daughter, Alana Martina, and in 2022, Rodríguez gave birth to twins in April with the boy tragically dying during childbirth, while the girl twin survived, Bella Esmeralda.

Will Cristiano and Georgina wed one day?

While the pair are not married, Georgina has openly confessed that she would like to tie the knot one day in the future. In her docuseries, she opened up about the possibility and last summer, when asked whether she would like to marry, she replied. “Of course I would.”

The Al Nassr star says he feels the same. During his interview with Piers Morgan, he said it is definitely on his mind: “[Marriage is] something that’s not in my plans now, but in the future, I do want to”.

For now, Cristiano is happy to have his family close and supporting him in Suadi Arabia. His eldest son was in the stands watching his dad open the scoring against Al Ettifaq on Friday, his seventh goal in seven games. And Cristiano celebrated with a three-finger message directed at his son, apparently the gesture related to the two goals Cristiano Jr had scored for the Under-15s in the 4-0 win over Al Qadsiah earlier that evening.
