How much do tickets for Lollapalooza 2024 cost and where can I buy them?
Hosted by Grant Park in downtown Chicago, the annual four-day Lollapalooza music festival is set to get underway on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Tickets remain available for this year’s edition of the Lollapalooza music festival - but so close to the date of the event, the most affordable passes are close to selling out.
When is Lollapalooza 2024?
Held at Chicago’s Grant Park, the venue for the event since 2005, Lollapalooza 2024 is due to take place from Thursday August 1 to Sunday August 4. Tickets can be bought on the festival website’s ticketing portal.
Among the approximately 200 acts set to appear at Lollapalooza this summer, the headliners include rapper Megan Thee Stallion, R&B singer-songwriter SZA, and the rock bands the Killers and Blink-182.

What Lollapalooza tickets are available? How much do they cost?
One-day general admission
One-day general admission tickets start at $155 plus taxes. However, they are now only available for Sunday. The festival’s ticket portal does also offer would-be attendees the option of joining a waiting list for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
It should be noted that children under the age of eight are allowed in for free as long as they are accompanied by a ticketed adult. With younger festival-goers in mind, the Lollapalooza experience also includes Kidzapalooza, described by the event’s organizers as “the place for family-focused fun”.
One-day GA+
One-day GA+ tickets, which start at $280, are also unavailable on every day except the Sunday. You can join a wait list for the other three days.
GA+ tickets offer perks such as entrance to two GA+ lounges and a private bar with “preferred pricing”.

One-day VIP
With a starting price of $600, one-day VIP tickets are available for Thursday and Sunday’s concerts. There is a wait list for Friday and Saturday.
VIP tickets offer advantages that include access to an exclusive concert viewing area, and entrance to two VIP lounges.
One-day Platinum
One-day Platinum tickets start at $2080. Platinum ticket holders are given access to an exclusive viewing area with complimentary drinks, as well as entrance to two Platinum lounges with an open bar. There are also complimentary snacks and meals.
One-day Platinum tickets appear to still be available for all four days.
Two and four-day tickets
Two-day general admission tickets, which started at $318, are sold out.
Four-day general admission tickets, which begin at $409, are currently unavailable but you can sign up to a wait list. The same goes for four-day GA+ passes, which begin at $775. Four-day VIP tickets (from $1670) and four-day Platinum tickets (from $4500) remain available. Fans can also purchase tickets through verified resellers.
The Lollapalooza website also offers ticket + hotel packages, at widely varying prices. Platinum and Insider hotel deals are now sold out.
