Miss Universe 2023 will be the 72nd Miss Universe pageant and will be held at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador.
On Saturday, 18 November, the 72nd gala will be held to choose the next Miss Universe. This year, the coronation will take place for the first time in the capital of El Salvador, San Salvador.
Almost 100 women will participate in the pageant and will look to succeed the current Miss Universe, R’Bonney Gabriel, from the United States. This year there will also be some new features such as the participation of married women with children in the competition.
What prize does the winner of Miss Universe receive?
In addition to winning the title of being the most beautiful woman in the universe, the winner of this contest will take home an annual salary of approximately $250,000. In addition to that, the winner will have access and sponsorship to different brands of beauty products, jewelry, clothing and the winning force crown known as ‘Force for Good’.
The crown of this 2023 edition of Miss Universe is valued at $5 million dollars, which makes it one of the most expensive in the history of the contest. This tiara was made by Lebanese company Mouawad, famous for creating jewelry for pageants.
