Since premiering on Fox in January 2019, ‘The Masked Singer’ has become one of the most popular reality television series in the United States. Based on a South Korean show ‘King of Mask Singer’, judges are tasked with identifying celebrities as they perform.
The show returned on Wednesday for a 12th season, with the same cast of judges renewing. Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg and Robin Thicke have all been with the show since the first season aired in 2019. Rita Ora is a newer addition, entering in season 11 to replace Nicole Scherzinger. The British singer had previously hosted the UK version of the show.

Community and Hangover star Ken Jeong was a part of the original lineup of judges when the show was first aired in the United States. His earnings will have risen as the show became more popular and StyleCaster estimates that he now earns between $1.25 million and $2.5 million per season.
When asked about his favourite memories on the show, Jeong revealed that it was the unveiling of his hero, Dick Van Dyke.
“That’s probably my favourite reveal. I believe he was 97 at the time, so when he did Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as part of his farewell elimination song, Nicole Scherzinger and I teared up because he’s such a global treasure.”
How much does Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg earn from The Masked Singer?
Another stalwart from the first season, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg has amassed a huge fortune from a long career as an actor and model. She is thought to earn between $1.25 million and $2.5 million per season from The Masked Singer.
How much does Robin Thicke earn from The Masked Singer?
The ‘Blurred Lines’ singer has also been on the show since its first airing in the United States and he too earns between $1.25 million and $2.5 million for each season of The Masked Singer.
In an interview with Entertainment Thicke revealed that he enjoyed working on the show because it reminded him of his father, who had died a few years before the start of The Masked Singer.
“My dad loved big tent television,” Thicke explained back in 2021. “He loved these kinds of TV shows. And when I got home, I was like, ‘You know what, I think this could be a big hit.’ And then I thought of my dad.”
How much does Rita Ora earn from The Masked Singer?
The newest addition to the judging team, Rita Ora is embarking on her second season of The Masked Singer US, although she was previously a mainstay on the UK version of the show. Unlike her co-stars, Rita Ora is thought to earn around $1 million per season for her work.
She told Entertainment Weekly: “Well, of course I was familiar by doing the U.K. show for about five seasons, and when they asked me to do this one, I was so excited. I just felt like a hundred percent [yes] because I already knew the show so well, and I just love it and I love the excitement of it.”
She has worked on a number of different television talent shows in recent years, as well as The Masked Singer on both sides of the Atlantic. She appeared on a series of The X Factor and was a coach on The Voice UK and The Voice Australia.
