Looking toward Live Nation Concert Week, which takes place May 10 to May 16, when the ticket broker will be selling concert tickets for a blanket price of $25.

Now, Live Nation, having merged with Ticketmaster in 2010, is universally lowering the cost of concert tickets for the summer of 2023 for those who scoop up their tix during Concert Week — a new phenomenon for the company.

Since the merger, the conglomerate reportedly controls over 70 percent of the ticketing market.

Finally making concert tickets more accessible?

The record-low price is bound to sell out quickly. The average cost of concert tickets is four times higher than it was twenty years ago, making it more of a novelty than a regular activity for many people. Additionally, resale markets and scalping have driven prices even higher and less available for the average person.

In January 2023, Ticketmaster and Live Nation faced the US Senate about a monopoly on ticket sales after they allowed software bots to illegally obtain Taylor Swift tickets, as per Global News.

What’s the catch?

There is no catch. Here is how you can snag your summer concert tix in the United States and Canada for the summer of 2023.

Live Nation is granting an all-access opportunity for music fans to catch their favorite artists, releasing $25 tickets to over 3,800 live concerts from more than 300 artists throughout the US and Canada this coming summer.

Concert Week opens Wednesday, May 10, at 10 am EST and closes May 16.

What bands can I get $25 tickets for?

Live Nation has already posted the full lineup to their website, which includes artists like Shania Twain, Janet Jackson, Rod Stewart, Charlie Puth, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and Shaggy, and bands such as Maroon 5, TLC, Mötley Crüe, and Fall Out Boy.
