The ‘Born to Die’ singer is reportedly engaged, who is she engaged to?
Lana Del Rey is reportedly engaged to Evan Winiker, a managing partner at RangeMedia and former member of the indie rock band Steel Train.
The couple has kept a relatively low profile, and Del Rey was previously linked to Jack Donoghue of the bands Salem and Young Cream as of last year, with the singer appearing on Donoghue’s Instagram. He has since appeared to have deleted all traces of her.
The couple was first seen together in September 2022
The news of Del Rey’s engagement comes from an unnamed source, according to Billboard. Despite the lack of official confirmation, Del Rey and Winiker, who have kept their relationship private, have been spotted together a handful of times.
They were seen last September at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off festival, and earlier this month at the Pappy & Harriet restaurant in Pioneertown, California. There, the couple posed for pictures with fans.
Neither Del Rey nor Winiker have officially confirmed their relationship status, but the news comes after the release of Del Rey’s latest album ‘Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’ released just last Friday.
Billboard also noted that frequent Lana Del Rey collaborator, Jack Antonoff, was in the same band as Winiker, Steel Train. Antonoff has producer credits on ‘Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’ for six of the album’s songs.
The album has already received rave reviews from critics, lauding Del Rey’s more personal performance, where the singer reveals a closer look at her personal life.
Del Rey was also recently honored at this year’s Billboard Women in Music awards, receiving the Visionary Award.
“I feel like being happy is the ultimate goal. So I did it,” the singer said in her speech.
Who is Evan Winiker?
Besides being a former member of the band Steel Train, which has performed live on late-night shows such as ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ in 2010 and ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien’ in 2008, Winiker currently works as a managing partner at RangeMedia, working with clients such as MAX, Daya, Disco Biscuits, Skyler Stonestreet and Walk Off the Earth.
