Jenna Ortega wore a chic, black and white outfit to Monday night’s ‘Scream VI’ premiere in New York City, but at some point during the evening, the star was spotted with a large ink blot near the shoulder of her white dress.

The slasher horror movie, ‘Scream VI’ is a continuation of the ‘Scream’ franchise, for which Ortega won the MTV Movie and TV award for Most Frightened Performance. The movie will be released in theaters on Friday by Paramount Pictures.

The 20-year-old actress pulled off an elegant look, which was more mature-looking than the way she usually appears in her on-screen teenager type-cast roles. Despite the stain, she smiled widely at cameras as she stood with her arms around her ‘Scream’ co-stars, Hayden Panettiere and Courteney Cox.

Ortega, who has received wide critical acclaim for her role as Wednesday Addams in the 2022 Netflix comedy horror series, a spin-off from ‘The Addams Family’, ‘Wednesday’, wore a restructured button-up Jean Paul Gaultier dress with an exaggerated neckline, and an off-the-shoulders black blazer with matching restructured cuffs.

The ‘Wednesday’ actress also wore bold red lipstick, open-toe platform stilettos, and Tiffany & Co jewelry.

The ‘Scream VI’ cast

Ortega, who reprised her role as Tara Carpenter in the horror franchise, posed for photos at the ‘Scream VI’ premiere at AMC Lincoln Square with co-stars Devyn Nekoda, Liana Liberato, Melissa Barrera, and ‘Scream’ original cast member, Courteney Cox for a group photo during the premiere at AMC Lincoln Square.

The ‘Scream’ cast also includes Samara Weaving, Hayden Panettiere, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Dermot Mulroney.

Courtney Cox is the only member of the original cast, and she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February.

Neve Campbell of the original ‘Scream’ declined to pick up her role again as Sidney Prescott due to a reported pay dispute.
