Update:

Jennifer Aniston is one of the world’s most popular actresses after she shot to fame in her starring role as Rachel Green on the immensely popular television sitcom Friends, which ran from 1994 to 2004.

Friends made her an international household name and earned her several major awards, including a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe.

She successfully launched a film career after Friends, starring in numerous successful movies, particularly romantic comedies like Bruce Almighty, The Break-Up, Marley & Me, Just Go with It, and Horrible Bosses.

Anniston has continued to have success in television, most recently starring in and executive producing the critically acclaimed series The Morning Show, for which she won a Screen Actors Guild Award.

She has maintained a significant media presence, and was even nicknamed “America’s sweetheart” during her time on Friends.

The 56-year-old recently appeared on the Armchair Expert podcast and in a conversation with host Dax Shepard she opened up on the issue of having children.

The Los Angeles born stated: “There’s literally nothing I can do about it. “When people say, ‘But you can adopt,’ I don’t want to adopt,” she continued. “I want my own DNA in a little person. That’s the only way, selfish or not, whatever that is, I wanted it.”

The actress previously confessed that she was trying to have kids in her 30s and 40s, but it was difficult. “I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road,” she explained. “All the years and years and years of speculation. … It was really hard.” Aniston admitted, “so here I am today. The ship has sailed.”
