Jeremy Renner reveals acting ‘is no longer a priority’ following snow plow incident

The future of Renner’s Hollywood career is undecided as he recovers.

Jeremy Renner reveals acting ‘is no longer a priority’ following snow plow incident

As Jeremy Renner’s recovery from his harrowing snow plow incident continues, an insider recently told the Daily Mail that Renner’s acting career is no longer a priority for him.

According to the Nevada’s sheriff’s office, in January of this year, Renner sustained considerable injuries at his Lake Tahoe home while keeping his nephew from being hit by a snow plow. The Marvel actor broke over 30 bones and suffered blunt chest trauma among other injuries.

He was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

“[A]lthough he does still love acting, Hollywood is just not a priority to him anymore,” the insider said.

Renner is still unable to walk due to his injuries and has since relocated to his Los Angeles home to continue his recovery.

“Jeremy believes that he survived the accident so that he can use his platform to really create change in the world,” the insider went on. “He is very proud of the work that he has done, but this entire situation has really shown him that there is so much more that he could be doing to help others.”

Renner is still slated for an upcoming project

Prior to the incident, Renner had completed filming a four-part documentary series called ‘Rennervations’.

While the 52-year-old actor is unable to promote the series, he did speak about it in the trailer.

“I’m buying these decommissioned government vehicles to help reimagine them to serve this community again just in a different way. I decided to reimagine, repurpose and renovate these vehicles and I wanted to do it for communities and help kids all over the world.”

“There’s a lot of concern on the Avengers family chat like, you know, what is Renner doing? He’s going a little off the rails.”

‘Rennervations’ will premiere on Disney+ on April 12, 2023.
