JJ Watt left in awe after Taylor Swift performance

JJ Watt couldn’t help but rave about Taylor Swift after attending one of her shows during the opening weekend of the ‘Eras Tour’.

Watt got tired just from watching Swift

Swift began her highly-anticipated ‘Eras Tour’ over the weekend with two performances at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Watt, who played for the Arizona Cardinals from 2021 to 2022 before retiring, took in the show with wife Kealia Ohai Watt, and he couldn’t help but praise the singer for her delivering while on stage.

“44 Songs. 3 Hours and 15 Minutes. So much respect @taylorswift,” Watt wrote on Instagram. “When your fans pay for a ticket, they are getting their money’s worth and some. Touché.”

Watt went on to compliment all aspects of the show, including the production value.

“The production, the set design, the video boards, the sound quality, the speakers, just — you can tell when somebody does something at the top of their game and is trying to do [it] the right way for their fans,” Watt said in the video.

“This is done the right way for the people paying money to come and see her. She did not stop the whole time. There was no intermission.

“She was singing, dancing, entertaining the entire time. 70,000 people hanging on every word and move she was making. She crushed it. And she didn’t even look tired. I was tired, and I was just sitting there!”

Watt, who played in the NFL from 2011 to 2022, added that he would be impressed if Swift would get through the entire tour without missing a single show.

“If she can do this entire tour without missing a single show, it will be unbelievably impressive,” said Watt.

“Just the sheer mental, physical, emotional toll that this has to take on your body. To be able to go out there and do that night after night after night, city after city after city — three hours and fifteen minutes? Unbelievable.”

The tour is Swift’s first since 2018

Swift last toured in 2018, and since then, she’s released four albums: Lover (2019), Folklore (2020), Evermore (2020), and Midnights (2022).

Her performances over the weekend, which lasted over three hours, were divided into sections, each corresponding to one of her 10 albums, though not performed chronologically.
