Jon Bon Jovi speaks out on son’s engagement to Millie Bobby Brown

Legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi recently commented on his son Jake Bongiovi’s engagement to ‘Stranger Things’ actress Millie Bobby Brown.

Bon Jovi appeared on Andy Cohen’s Sirius XM show, ‘Radio Andy’ on Tuesday. After Cohen asked the singer if he thought his son was too young for marriage, Bon Jovi said no.

“I don’t know if age matters if you find the right partner and you grow together,” he told Cohen.

Brown and Bongiovi announced their engagement very recently, in early April. Brown is 19 and Bongiovi is 20.

Bon Jovi is an adamant believer in love no matter the age, having been with his wife, Dorothea since the two were in high school. The couple are now in their sixties and are still going strong four decades later.

Bon Jovi, a romantic at heart, also gave some advice on Cohen’s show when it comes to finding real love.

“Growing together is wise,” he told Cohen.

“I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all.”

Three out of four of Bon Jovi’s children have marriage plans as of now, and Bon Jovi is fully supportive.

Emmy-nominated actress Brown announced her engagement to Bongiovi on April 11, and the young couple looks adorably in love in Brown’s Instagram post.

“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ‘em all” she captioned the black-and-white photo of the pair in an embrace on the beach. The lyrics are from Taylor Swift’s song, ‘Lover’.

Brown is also showing off her stunning engagement ring in the photo. The pair have not yet announced a wedding date.
