Juno Temple is in talks to star in the upcoming Marvel superhero film ‘Venom 3′, the sequel to ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’.

Temple will join Tom Hardy, who plays the titular antihero Venom and his human counterpart, Eddie Brock. No other casting decisions have been made, according to Deadline.

‘Venom 3′ pre-production underway

Hardy recently confirmed that ‘Venom 3′ was in pre-production in an Instagram post with the caption “Whilst working on V3 pre-prep @lelping @sonypictures @sony @venommovie this throwback came up #cuttingroomfloor #byetom #thankstom”.

The post shared a deleted scene from 2018′s ‘Venom’ known as ‘Ride to the Hospital’, where Hardy’s character, Eddie Brock, struggles for control over the body that he shares with Venom.

No plot details for ‘Venom 3′ have been revealed, but following the success of the first two ‘Venom’ movies, fans have been speculating whether a third movie would be made of their favorite Marvel superhero.

Who’s involved in ‘Venom 3′?

So far, Kelly Marcel, a writer from previous ‘Venom’ movies, had been confirmed as taking on the helm as director for the movie.

Both Marcel and Hardy will also be working as producers, along with Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.

The screenplay is also reportedly based on a story that Marcel and Hardy wrote together, and no details of whether actors from the previous movies have been revealed.

Temple is fresh off her success with the hit Apple TV+ soccer series ‘Ted Lasso’, which is currently airing its final episodes before the series finale at the end of May. She stars in the series with Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, and Jeremy Swift.
