Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. Though Justin Bieber gave no updates on his health, the singer did take to Instagram with a message for his fans — to keep smiling despite the storm.

Biebs show his true self

Justin Bieber reassured fans that he is still smiling and staying hopeful, as he posted an Instagram story of him breaking out into a broad, candid smile to show his true disposition.

Bieber, diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome type II, a condition that causes hearing loss and facial paralysis, in 2022, has recently canceled his 2023 world tour to rest and focus on his health, finding the string of concerts to be too exhausting.

Bieber postponed his world tour in 2022 with hopes to return in 2023 — which he did, but not for long.

The singer’s doctor’s reportedly “forced” him to cancel the 2023 world tour and his wife and family were extremely concerned for his health, but Biebs himself knew he was exerting too much energy on-stage, telling his friends he needed to focus on getting better.

Bieber flashes fan a big smile

In his Instagram story on Wednesday, Bieber flashed a big smile to let fans know his heart is well even though he is facing physical challenges. Despite his partial paralysis of the face, the singer looked relaxed and sincere.

Bieber, who has 281 million followers on Instagram, wore a gray hoodie and a bluejacket and Tems’ song ‘Ice T’ plays in the background.

“Wait for it....” read the caption of the brief video, as the camera zooms in on the 29-year-old’s pensive face before he breaks out into a wide smile.

Not invincible afterall

Sources close to Justin Bieber told the Daily Mail in March that the singer’s doctors had forced him to cancel the string of shows coming up in 2023.

“Justin is fragile and has been worn thin lately,” the source said. “He was told that this needed to happen and he was left with no other choice.”

“He knows that if he did not cancel the remaining tour dates, it could have a horrible impact on his overall health. If he does not have his health, he has nothing,” the source continued.

“He feels horrible about it. He is aware that this impacts so many people who rely on him and he is committed to making sure that they are all okay.

Since his illness, Bieber has realized the importance of his health, and that he isn’t invincible.

“For so many years, Justin felt like he was invincible and that nothing could hurt him,” the insider said. “But after getting sick with Ramsay Hunt, it became so clear to him that he is not.
