Following his anti-Semitic comments last year and more recent ones, Kanye West has shared an apology to the Jewish community via social media.

Kanye West apologizes to the Jewish community

After the anti-Semitic comments he shared last year and this year after the release of his new musical material, Kanye West has apologized to the Jewish community.

Through his Instagram account, Ye shared a message in Hebrew, the translation of which is as follows:

I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any involuntary outbursts caused by my words or actions. It was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I am deeply sorry for any pain I may have caused. I commit to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

Although he did not apologize for any specific incident, Kanye's apology came less than two weeks after the artist shared a lengthy speech that included more anti-Semitic messages, including one comparing himself to Jesus Christ and Hitler.

The rapper had a listening session for his new album'Vultures', whose title track references his past comments:“How am I anti-Semitic? I just fucked a Jewish bitch.” However, following his apology, some other lines from his songs may be removed before the album is officially released next year.

The fall of Ye and loss of contracts

Ye's downfall began last year after he made comments on Twitter about the death of the Jewish people. Just a few days after that, Kanye told Piers Morgan that he only wanted to harm Jews who mistreated him in music and business.

Additionally, during an appearance on the far-right web show InfoWars, the rapper made comments praising Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, as well as denying the existence of the Holocaust.

In a conversation with Gavin McInnes, founder of the supremacist group Proud Boys, he also called on the Jewish community to forgive Hitler.

Elon Musk suspended Kanye from Twitter after the rapper shared an image of a swastika inside a Star of David.

Due to his comments, the rapper began to lose several contracts with brands, including his multimillion-dollar deal with Adidas, for which he lost hundreds of millions of dollars, causing his net worth to drop.
