While Keanu Reeves is known for being one of the biggest names in Hollywood thanks to his role in several hit films, the 58-year-old has also distinguished himself for other reasons.

The actor has a reputation for being one of the nicest people in Hollywood, and he showed why that’s the case during a recent interaction with a young fan.

Reeves adds to his reputation

Reeves surprised fans by making an appearance at a signing for the latest issue of his comic book series, ‘BRZRKR’.

Plenty of fans showed up even though the event was a last minute deal, with one 9-year-old fan, Noah, starstruck at seeing Reeves in the flesh.

Reeves showed why the internet has crowned him as the nicest man in Hollywood by taking time to chat with Noah.

“You’re probably my favorite actor in the whole world,” Noah says joyously, to which Reeves responds: “Oh my gosh, Noah, thank you!”

The two then discuss Noah’s favorite Reeves character, Duke Caboom, the action figure from ‘Toy Story 4′.

Fans praise Reeves after his interaction

Fans had nothing but good things to say about Reeves after watching the interaction, with one noting: “The world needs more people like Keanu.”

Another fan wrote: “His enthusiasm has never faltered over all these years, every video I’ve seen of him he maintains the same amount of passion, excitement, and kindness for anyone and anything. We should all be like Keanu: a legend of the highest order.”

“If you are feeling sad…. Remember that the earth is billions of years old, yet you managed to be alive at the same time as Keanu Reeves,” joked another fan.

One fan might have summed up everyone’s feelings in six words, writing: “Literally impossible to hate this dude.”

Reeves and his other acts of kindness

This isn’t the first time Reeves has impressed fans with his wholesomeness and general kindness.

Back in 2015, Reeves made news when a bystander filmed him giving up his seat to a passenger on a New York subway when he noticed they were carrying a large bag.

He’s also known to respectfully keep his distance and not directly touch the backs of women, whether they are fans or co-stars, when he poses with them.

A Reddit post also revealed that Reeves treated stage workers to free breakfast and lunch during the final weeks of filming for ‘Chain Reaction’ back in the 1990s.
