Keely Shaye Smith’s astonishing change in 2025: she lost 99 lbs and reveals her secret
The physical appearance of Smith, the wife of James Bond star Pierce Brosnan, has drastically changed over the years, including a recent transformation.


Keely Shaye Smith has been in the public eye, to a lesser or greater extent, as a model, TV presenter, actress and more since the late 1980s, and has frequently been spotted stepping out with husband Pierce Brosnan, the fifth James Bond in the movie series.
The 61-year-old tied the knot with the Irish actor in 1994, since when they have had two sons together, in 1997 and 2001. Over the last two decades, Smith’s physical transformation has been impossible to not to notice as one of many celebrities whose weight has fluctuated considerably.
In 2006, after Smith had put on a significant amount of weight compared to her younger days, she told Vogue, “I never shy away from my curves. I never hide in baggy clothing”. Brosnan also described his partner’s appearance as “stunning,” saying “I love my wife’s curves.”

Recently, however, Smith has decided to make a big lifestyle change, which has seen her drop a whopping 99 pounds.
Behind Keely Shaye Smith’s weight loss
The Californian reportedly tried started off by trying ‘fashionable’ diets that supposedly help people lose weight rapidly, but ultimately opted to go down another, more sustainable path.
Smith chose a long-term approach, enlisting the help of nutritionists, healthcare professionals and personal trainers to achieve her goal.
A mix of healthy eating and regular exercise was key. Smith focused on eating lean proteins, whole grains and healthy fats, along with an abundance of fruits and vegetables. She drastically cut down her calorie intake, only consuming essential nutrients.
What Keely Shaye Smith ate
Her breakfast commonly included foods such as oatmeal mixed with fresh berries, Greek yogurt and eggs, while lunch often consisted of grilled chicken, tofu, a variety of vegetables and more yogurt.
When it came to dinner, Smith accompanied lean meat with steamed or roasted vegetables, as well as whole grains like quinoa or brown rice.
Between meals, nuts, fruit, hummus and vegetable sticks were her snacks of choice, with mushroom soup, accompanied by vegetables, and warm milk with turmeric a pre-bedtime treat.

As for exercise, Smith undertook a mix of strength training, cardiovascular exercises and flexibility workouts. Cycling, running and strength exercises like Russian twists, planks and leg raises were key parts of her routine.
Smith has revealed her transformation wasn’t easy. “There were tough days, of course,” she admitted in a recent interview. “Days when I didn’t feel like exercising, or when the scale didn’t move the way I wanted it to. But I had to remind myself that it wasn’t about perfection. It was about progress.”
But all the hard work was worth it. “It wasn’t just about losing weight. It was about feeling confident and in control of my life again. I feel better now than I did in my 40s. This journey has reminded me that it’s never too late to make a change and take care of yourself”.
