Khloe Kardashian subtly supports Tristan Thompson after he joins Lakers

Tristan Thompson is heading to Los Angeles after being signed by the Lakers, and Khloe Kardashian is seemingly excited about it. The two have been speculated to be in an on-again-off-again relationship.

After the official LA Lakers’ Instagram account broke the news on April 9, Khloe liked the post to show her support. Brother Rob Kardashian also gave the post a like, and re-shared the news to his Instagram story.

Closer to his kids

Tristan’s move to the Lakers, after last playing for the Chicago Bulls, means he will be closer to Kardashian and the children the two share. Thompson and Kardashian welcomed their daughter True, in 2018 and their son just seven months ago.

Tristan also has a six-year-old son, Prince, with ex Jordan Craig, and a one-year-old son with Maralee Nichols. According to reports, Nichols and Thompson hooked up while the NBA player was making plans to have a second child with Kardashian.

However, the pair’s surrogate got pregnant in November 2021 and Kardashian allegedly didn’t find out about Thompson’s other son until after the pregnancy was well underway.

Thompson will also be closer to his one-year-old son after being signed by the Lakers. It was reported in December 2021 that Nichols moved from Texas to a Los Angeles beachside apartment.

Khloe and Tristan’s co-parenting

After the scandal, it was reported that Khloe and Tristan were no longer seeing each other and had a stable relationship co-parenting their daughter True together. However, the pair seemingly rekindled their relationship sometime in early 2023.

In early January, Khloe, alongside sister Kim Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner, flew to Toronto to attend the funeral of Thompson’s mother. In February, Khloe Kardashian squashed rumors they were back together joking, “Who has time for a man lol.”

However, it seems Kardashian and Thompson are spending time together regardless of their relationship status. On April 5, the pair were photographed in a car together at a McDonald’s drive-thru together.

Despite this, Kardashian is maintaining her singleness. On the same day of the McDonald’s spotting, the reality TV star was asked if she was using dating apps on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show.’

Kardashian replied: “I haven’t yet. I don’t want to say never because who knows where I’ll be next year. But as of now, I haven’t yet.”
