Kim Kardashian is prepping for her breakout role in television. Just last month, it was announced that the ‘SKIMS’ founder was cast in the upcoming 12th season of ‘American Horror Story’.

The 12th season of American Horror Story is set to premiere this summer, and Kardashian is set to begin filming at the end of May. In the meantime, Kardashian has been preparing for her role, which includes taking acting classes and being spotted carrying around the upcoming season’s script.

Script details

On Friday, Kardashian was photographed heading into a meeting in Beverly Hill while carrying the AHS script underneath her arm. Kardashian reportedly plays a major role in the upcoming series.

On a zoomed-in shot, you can see it’s been watermarked as Kim’s copy and you can even make out a bit of the title of this episode, which appears to be “When the Bough Breaks”. It has the lead writer’s name Halley Feiffer, as well as the director, Ryan Murphy.

Kardashian’s exact character has yet to be revealed, but it’s reported she will be acting opposite Emma Roberts, who was previously cast in five other seasons of the series.

The upcoming season, titled ‘Delicate,’ is based on the upcoming novel ‘Delicate Condition’ by Danielle Valentine. The plot is being kept under wraps, but is reportedly about a woman who becomes convinced that someone is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.

Criticisms of Kardashian’s casting

In a recent interview, fellow AHS actor Patti LuPone shared her opinion on Kardashian’s casting, calling it “ridiculous.” Despite the criticism, AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy defended Kardashian’s casting, stating that the role was specifically designed for her and acknowledging her influence in popular culture.

Kardashian herself has expressed excitement for the opportunity, and in a recent interview at the Met Gala, she spoke about her upcoming role in the series.

“We start shooting my stuff at the end of this month,” the reality TV star told Variety in a red-carpet interview. “But production has already started, and I’m so excited.”

“It’s really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow,” she continued. “I’m so excited for the experience.”
