Larsa Pippen to change her last name if she marries Marcus Jordan
Larsa Pippen is currently dating Marcus Jordan, son of NBA star Michael Jordan
Larsa Pippen is making headlines for her recent statements about her new relationship with Marcus Jordan. Jordan is the son of legendary NBA basketball player, Michael Jordan.
The ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ star was formerly married to six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen. The two recently split and were married from 1997 to 2021.
Pippen started dating Jordan in January 2023 and recently spoke out about her commitment to him on the ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ reunion show. The two are not engaged yet, but Pippen is willing to change her last name should this change in the future.
“I would definitely change my last name for whomever I married, that’s for sure,” Pippen divulged.

After a few months of speculation, Pippen confirmed to her Instagram following that she and Jordan were an item. On January 23 this year, she posted a photo with Jordan posing in front of a large floral rendition of Jordan’s father’s iconic no.23 Bulls jersey.
The floral jersey installation is set up in the Trophy Room store, of which Marcus Jordan is the founder and CEO.
The couple’s social media announcement came after they had previously denied dating rumors in October 2022. Pippen stated to PEOPLE Magazine at BravoCon in October that the pair were “just friends.”

Andy Cohen, executive producer for the Real Housewives franchise, recently asked Pippen about the “unusual” dynamic she became involved in once she started dating Michael Jordan’s son. Her ex-husband, Scottie Pippen, recently had a falling out with Jordan after decades of playing for the Chicago Bulls together.
“I feel like a lot of people don’t understand, like, I didn’t know him,” clarified the ‘Real Housewives’ star, referring to boyfriend Marcus Jordan.
Pippen continues, “I just met him a few years ago. I never met him before. I was with Scottie the very last year that he played with Michael [...] It wasn’t like we had families that were intertwined. I never knew them.”
