Lawsuit reveals chaos behind Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding

A 188-page lawsuit has been filed against the Peltz family regarding the ‘chaotic’ wedding.

Los Beckham no logran encajar con su nueva familia: Los Peltz. Victoria teme perder a su hijo Brooklyn por problemas y diferencias con su nuera, Nicola.

After a £3 million celebrity-packed dream wedding that united Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham in marriage, wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba launched a lawsuit against the father of Nicola Peltz, demanding his £132,000 deposit back.

Nelson Peltz, the billionaire businessman, claims the pair was fired just weeks before the three-day wedding celebration at the £76 million family mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, just last April because of alleged ‘mistakes’.

However just last week Braghin and Grijalba hit back at these claims, calling Peltz a “Bully Billionaire” and filed a counterclaim in Miami Court. The counterclaim is for a breach of contract and ‘interference’ with a business deal.

Lawsuit claims

The pair are also suing the bride, Nicola Peltz Beckham, her mother Claudia, and wedding designer Rishi Patel for damages of at least £41,000 plus costs, which could amount to hundreds of thousands of pounds.

The 188-page countersuit makes several claims, including that, Nelson Peltz wanted to ‘cancel the wedding’ and allegedly called it ‘a s*** show’, but his wife ‘begged’ him not to as it would ‘destroy Nicola’s career.’

Nicola allegedly spent £85,000 ($100,000) on hair and make-up with the court documents claiming Claudia Peltz asked the planners not to tell her husband because he would ‘kill her and be so mad’.

The documents also claimed, the Peltz’s were afraid of Victoria Beckham finding out about ‘mistakes’ in the wedding planning. The couple also intended to serve burgers named Nicole and Brooklyn at the wedding.

Lavish celebrity filled wedding

The wedding planners were hired in February 2022, just six weeks ahead of the lavish wedding. More than 500 guests attended including celebrities such as Gordan Ramsey, Eva Longoria, and fellow spice girl members Mel B and Mel C.

The original planners agreed to a fee of £264,000, with Nelson Peltz paying a deposit of half that amount. They claim things went downhill quickly with issues of multiple guest lists and the bride ‘being too busy’ to speak on the phone.

The lengthy court documents have hundreds of WhatsApp messages, texts, and emails which show guest lists incomplete, and major factors such as hair and makeup artists, photographers, and so on had yet to be confirmed.

According to the suit, Nicola sent the planners a text a day before they were fired reassuring the pair that they were “Killing it!”

A spokesman for Nelson Peltz said this week that the planners’ complaint “is replete with inaccuracies and their claims have no merit.”
