A new report from NME shows that Liam Payne may have donated thousands of dollars to GoFundMe drives in the month before his death. Payne had expressed his interest in donating to these campaigns, as he often saw himself reflected in cases where parents asked for support for their children. He understood that his life could have gone differently, and it could have been him asking strangers for support.

On one night, he is thought to have donated around $10,000 to various drives.

The charitable Liam Payne "had a burning desire to use his moeny to do good"

During his life One Direction singer, Liam Payne, gave away millions from his £46 million fortune. 

A friend of his said that “Liam had all this money and, yes, he had fancy things in life, but he also had a burning desire to use his money to do good.”

He continued his good works in the weeks leading up to his untimely passing said the friend.  He especially wanted to help kids. “As a father it hits me differently,” Payne said of his charitable acts. “I can’t not look at a sick child and not see Bear.”

“I’m not asking for people to say well done or I’m amazing. What I care about is that that child gets to live the life it’s supposed to.”
