Lindsay Lohan launches new beauty campaign exhibiting past roles
The actress has a brand new beauty line featuring a nod to roles past.
Lindsay Lohan, who is expecting her first child, has launched a new beauty line with Peter Thomas Roth, where she parodies her past roles.
Lohan, who said she incorporates the contoured hydra-gel eye patches into her skincare routine, is the new face of the Eye-Conic Eye Patch brand and has appeared in a marketing video.
The eye patch commercial
The duo have taken on the look of decades past.
The commercial portrays Lohan as an Eye-Conic Eye Patch call center operator. Wearing a smart suit and microphone headset, Lohan answers calls pertaining to the product — wearing the shiny golden pads under her eyes all the while.
“Hi, you’ve reached the Peter Thomas Roth Eye-Conic Eye Patch Hotline,” the actress says in the ad. “It’s Lindsay!”
“What can Peter Thomas Roth eye patches help me with?” the caller asked.
“The limit does not exist!” Lohan proclaimed, quipping one of her most famous ‘mean Girls’ quotes.
Next, Lohan admires herself in a mirror and takes on her old role in ‘The Parent Trap’.
“Honey, you’ve never looked better,” Lohan crooned into the mirror.
Lindsay’s favorite product
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress said she has tried “countless” other products, but has never found one she likes as much as Roth’s — and has announced that the eye patches have “become [her] staples”, as per People Magazine.
“I especially love them because they’re saturated with clinical ingredients that instantly make me look awake. When I first tried them years ago, I was so impressed with the results,” the ‘Parent Trap’ actress said.
“I’ll use different patches each day, depending on the concerns I want to address, from dark circles to puffiness to fine lines, whether it’s before a photo shoot or after a long day on set.”
“But, my favorite beauty ritual is popping on my patches in-flight when I’m traveling,” Lohan revealed.
