Luke Bryan’s $18 million Florida beachfront home up for sale
Dubbed ‘Snowman’, the singer has opted to list his four-story beach house.
Country singer Luke Bryan has put his stunning four-bed, four-bath Florida beachfront home up for sale with an asking price of $18 million.
The singer bought the property for $2.5 million back in 2013, but the fully-furnished home has since undergone some extensive upgrades and remodeling.
Despite the work, it still has a 96 feet of unobstructed waterfront.
Bryan allowed ‘Traditional Home” to visit the property, which was built in 1994 according to Zillow, and shared a story behind the house’s meaningful name.
It’s called ‘Snowman’ in honor of Luke’s late brother Chris, who died in a car accident while the singer was in college.
“Evidently, Chris wasn’t a great golfer,” said Luke’s wife, Caroline. “Snowman became his nickname. We named our farm Red Bird Farm after Luke’s sister and wanted to honor Chris as well.”
The property serves as a vacation home for the couple and sons Bo and Tate.
“Luke, Caroline, and the boys are constantly on the go,” says the couple’s longtime designer Chad James. “This is really a space where they can check out and be reclusive. They can just shut off from the outside world for a bit.”
According to Forbes, the gated property is located on over an acre just off the 30A highway in a private part of the region, meaning there is limited traffic.
Bryan’s property isn’t the only one in the area up for sale, with two others commanding a higher fee: a nine-bed, 9.5 bath house is listed for $25 million, while a five-bed, five-bath currently under construction is listed for $18.9 million according to Redfin.
The 4,645-square foot home, which is listed with Hannah Martin of The Martin Group/Coastal Luxury, features a main floor with reclaimed pine floors and barn-style doors that lead to the upstairs bedrooms.
The kitchen features marble countertops, and an upper floor room leads out on to the porch and views of the waterfront.
“I love walking into an art gallery and spotting a piece of art across the room that draws you over,” James says. “That’s the sort of feeling we wanted this house to have. It’s all about being drawn to that ocean view.”
There is also a media room, and bunk beds built with televisions that go with headsets.
Outside is a grilling area, along with a pool, as well as a garage for cars and golf carts.
