Man City star Kyle Walker returns home after double life comes to light
Despite kicking him out after learning of a secret child with ex-partner, Lauryn Goodman, the Englishman’s wife Annie Kilner has reportedly taken him back.
Manchester City and England star Kyle Walker has reportedly returned to his marital home, four months after being kicked out by wife Annie Kilner. Walker was discovered to have fathered a child with former lover Lauryn Goodman, with whom he has another child from their previous relationship.
Kilner was pregnant with their fourth child at the time that Walker’s infidelity came to light. Walker is said to have been living a ‘double life’ with Goodman, leaving his wife and family in the dark.
In the UK The Sun reports that Walker had been living in a nearby mansion, rented at a cost of around £20,000 per month, after being told to leave his family home. Walker is said to have been kicked out in January but has recently returned.
Walker and Kilner are committed to finding a solution that works for their kids and she is considering whether to take him back. The couple married in 2022 after a 12-year relationship.
Is Kyle Walker considering Saudi Arabia transfer?
While Annie Kilner considers whether to allow Walker back to live permanently with their children, those close to her are unsure about a potential reconciliation.
In a bid to help turn over a new leaf Walker is considering a move away from England, leaving behind Goodman and his two other children. The Saudi Pro League has been offering massive wages to elite players coming towards the end of their careers. Last year Riyad Mahrez, a former teammate of Walker’s, made the move to Saudi Arabia and Walker has reportedly asked him about the move.
“Kyle has been thinking about his future after the Premier League and thinks a move to Saudi could be perfect for him, Annie, and their kids when he is done here,” The Sun reports. “He has been speaking to Riyad about the football clubs out there and what life is like for people who move there. Obviously, the lifestyle is vastly different.”
A move overseas would reduce the public scrutiny on Walker and Kilner’s relationship and could provide a fresh start for the family. He remains a key player at Manchester City but, turning 34 later this month, is reaching the end of his professional career. If City can secure a record fourth consecutive English league title this season Walker could decide that now is the time for a change.
