Man discovers antique popcorn machine and multiplies its value 100-fold: “Everyone loves it”

A young man bought the old popcorn machine similar to those used in movie theaters for the unbelievable price of $15 and discovered that it is worth over $1,200.

He started working at Diario AS in 1992 producing editorial specials, guides, magazines and editorial products. He has been a newspaper reporter, chief design and infographic editor since 1999 and a pioneer in NFL information in Spain with the blog and podcast Zona Roja. Nick Lafrenz, a 29-year-old from Portland, Oregon, found a professional popcorn machine at a thrift store for the incredible price of $15. The machine is about 15 years old, in mint condition, and similar Gold Medal brand models cost more than $1,200 on the market. After running it and confirming that it makes delicious popcorn, Nick intends to use it to offer free popcorn to customers at his blueberry farm.
