The Barbie and Wolf of Wall Street star has been confirmed to headline Tim Burton’s upcoming remake of the 1958 cult sci-fi film Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, a project that’s been swirling with rumors since Burton was first attached as director.

Robbie, one of Hollywood’s most bankable and versatile actresses, will not only star but also produce the film through her production company, LuckyChap. With Burton’s signature Gothic flair and Robbie’s commanding screen presence, this re-imagining is already generating A major buzz.
The original film starred Allison Hayes as Nancy Archer, a wealthy heiress whose life takes a wild turn after a close encounter with aliens. The result? She grows to a staggering 50 feet tall—roughly 16 meters—and uses her newfound size to exact revenge on her cheating husband.
The movie was given an R rating at the time (Restricted - Under 17s must be accompanied by parent or adult guardian) due to scenes of a man in cheap motels, extramarital kissing, and the fact that the protagonist frequently wore very little clothing.

Robbie’s Pirates of the Caribbean spin-off officially scrapped
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Robbie confirmed that Disney has canceled the planned Pirates of the Caribbean spin-off that she was set to lead.
The project, written by Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey), aimed to introduce a female-led storyline within the franchise. However, Disney has decided to pivot back to the original cast, reportedly developing a new installment featuring Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, and the highly anticipated return of Johnny Depp.
