Marilyn Manson is being sued by a woman who claims the musician sexually assaulted her in his tour bus when she was a minor.

The accuser filed the suit in New York under the pseudonym Jane Doe. She is also suing Manson’s former record labels, Interscope Records and Nothing Records, claiming they supported his “desire to expose children across America to sexual themes.”

In the lawsuit, Doe says she first encountered Manson, real name Brian Warner, after a Dallas concert in 1995 when she was 16.

She, along with “three other underage female fans,” were apparently waiting outside the venue to meet Manson. He then allegedly asked the girls “what each of their ages were, what grades in school they were in, and where their parents were at the time,” before inviting Doe and one of the other younger girls onto his bus.

She alleges that at least one of Manson’s bandmates watched him rape her, and that she “was in pain, scared, upset, humiliated and confused.” At that point she alleges Manson demanded Doe “get the f— off of my bus” and “threatened Plaintiff that, if she told anyone, he would kill her and her family.”

Doe remained in contact with Warner and his band for years, and he allegedly convinced her to travel to a New Orleans concert when she was still 16.

There, the suit claims Manson “groomed Plaintiff by complimenting her, playing with her hair and looking at the photos and drawings she brought with her,” before again sexually assaulting her.

Doe claims she was also sexually assaulted many times over the course of a month while he was on tour in 1999 when she was 19.

Doe also accuses Interscope and Nothing of negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

“At no time did Defendant Interscope and Defendant Nothing Records have a reasonable system or procedure in place to investigate, supervise, or monitor its staff and/or agents, including Defendant Warner, to prevent pre-sexual grooming and sexual harassment, molestation, and assault of fans, including minors and women,” the lawsuit says.

“Defendant Interscope and Defendant Nothing Records were well aware of Defendant Warner’s obsession with child pornography and pedophilia and his desire to expose children across America to sexual themes.

“Defendant Interscope had the ability to stop Defendant Warner from including images and symbols of children, violence and sexual deviance in Marilyn Manson albums and merchandise, but chose not to.

Doe is suing for unspecified damages.
