Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are on a break

The couple has had relationship troubles beginning last month, which don’t seem to be improving

After weeks of speculation on their relationship status, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly appear to officially be on a “break”, pausing their wedding planning to work on the issues troubling the relationship.

The news comes after Fox was recently spotted at Vanity Fair’s Oscars after-party, sporting new red hair, without Kelly and without her engagement ring.

The couple has paused wedding planning

A source has told news outlet US Weekly that the couple has decided to go on a break before deciding whether to continue or end their relationship.

Megan and MGK are currently on a break but are still in contact,” the source said of Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, who have been having trouble since the weekend of Super Bowl LVII.

They have stalled wedding planning to work on their issues,” the source added.

“Their relationship is pretty volatile at the moment. They are currently off, but still texting each other.”

The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ actress, 36, and ‘Wild Boy’ singer, 32, began dating in 2020 when they met on the set of the movie ‘Midnight in the Switchgrass’. They became engaged last January.

Last week, a source reported to US Weekly that “[Megan] isn’t sure where things stand with Colson, and it’s complicated at the moment. They’re still working on their relationship because the love they had was the real deal. That’s not something that just goes away overnight,

“However, they would need to have a significant breakthrough to make things work. It’s all up in the air right now.”

Over a month of relationship trouble for the couple

The couple’s troubles began last month when the couple was supposed to go to a Sports Illustrated party together, where Kelly was going to be performing.

“She was supposed to go to his performance at the Sports Illustrated party, but they had a fight and she canceled plans and flew out Saturday evening,” an insider told US at the time.

This was when Fox took to social media to post her infamous Instagram post with Beyoncé lyrics that refer to infidelity in her song ‘Pray You Catch Me’, followed by Fox ultimately deactivating her Instagram account for a week.

The couple was seen that week going to couple’s counseling, and reportedly have been going to the counseling sessions over Zoom.
