Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly pose separately for Sports Illustrated event
Although the pair attended the same event, they opted to walk the red carpet separately.
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly still aren’t on the same page after the pair were spotted posing separately at the Sports Illustrated 2023 Swimsuit Issue launch at Hard Rock Hotel New York on Thursday.
Fox, who features on the cover of the issue, wore a Laguna Smith dress for the occasion, while the singer wore a pinstriped look.
Although they opted to walk the red carpet separately, they were photographed from behind with their arms around each other.
The pair are slowly reconciling
Although a source told People they still have a ways to go before they are back as a couple, it appears MGK is doing what he can to get back into Fox’s good books.
“They are slowly working on reconciling but he’s totally in the dog house still,” said the source.
“He’s doing whatever he can to get her back, and she’s making him work for it. It’s still an unhealthy dynamic though, and their friends just don’t see this lasting.”
As a result, the source added that any talk over their wedding remains on hold for the time being.
“He has a lot of proving himself to do, and he doesn’t want to give her up. He is great with her kids and super hands on. It’s a work in progress,” they added.
MGK and Fox’s relationship
The pair met while on making the movie ‘Midnight in the Switchgrass’ back in 2020. They later got engaged in January 2022.
However, Fox hinted that all was not well between the two in February when she removed all photos of MGK from her Instagram account.
She later returned to the platform a week later to address rumors that the couple were done.
“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to...actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons,” Fox wrote.
The longtime couple have since been spotted attending counselling sessions in an attempt to save their relationship.
It seemed to be working, as the pair were seen vacationing in Hawaii in April, though Kelly attended his ‘Bupkis’ premiere alone. Fox also didn’t attend his birthday celebrations.
