Megan Fox returns to Instagram and denies cheating rumors
The actress returned to Instagram, denying any “third party interference” in her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly.
After a week of rumors and speculation on the status of Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship, the actress returned to Instagram, making a post denying the rumors.
“There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind,” Fox said before humorously adding: “that includes, but is not limited to … actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons.”
Fox deactivated her account last Sunday after fans noticed she had deleted all pictures with her fiancé of one year, and made a post captioned with lyrics from Beyoncé's song ‘Pray You Catch Me’ that suggest infidelity.
Fox calls for the rumors to end
In her Post, Fox addressed the media, saying: “While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.”
Since the rumors began, fans began speculating that Kelly had been cheating with his guitarist Sophie Lloyd, who immediately denied the rumors in a statement from her management team.
“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” read the statement.
“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”
Fox has not addressed why she deleted pictures of her and Kelly, or the meaning behind her last selfie post, including the clip of her burning an envelope supposedly given to her by Kelly.
Since then, Fox and Kelly were spotted leaving a counseling office in separate vehicles, which suggests they are working on whatever fight they had on the weekend.
When did they meet?
Fox and Kelly began dating in 2020 during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, before becoming engaged in January 2022.
Fox was previously married to Brian Austin Green, with whom she has three sons. Kelly shares a daughter with Emma Cannon, who he dated as a teenager.
