Miley Cyrus is no stranger when it comes to performing cover songs, having belted out hits like ‘My Way’ by Frank Sinatra’ and ‘Black Dog’ by Led Zeppelin in the past.

However, the singer is now the one being covered after Kevin Bacon and wife Kyra Sedgwick delivered an acoustic version of her smash hit ‘Flowers’.

Bacon recently posted a video of the pair singing the track, which also saw the actor’s beloved goats make a guest appearance.

Cyrus loves the cover

The cover has been given the Cyrus seal of approval after she responded to the video on Twitter with: “Love this”, along with a heart and a rose.

“Clearly, so do we. Thanks for this tune,” Bacon replied.

Bacon has posted several covers on his social media account in recent months, with wife Sedgwick, as well as his goats, joining him on a regular basis.

“I usually try to buy @kyrasedgwickofficial the flowers, but looks like she’s got that covered. Thanks @mileycyrus💐 #GoatSongs. And thanks @angiealaska for the screaming goat,” Bacon wrote to go along with his cover version of ‘Flowers’.

“We’re not with the goats, but we’d thought we’d try a goat song anyway,” Sedgwick said before getting into an acoustic version of Cyrus’ smash hit.

The goats managed to make an appearance during the chorus nonetheless, with the 57-year-old holding up a little goat figurine that let out a scream.

‘Flowers’ has been a hit for Cyrus

‘Flowers’ has turned into another smash hit for Cyrus.

The song was the most-streamed song in a seven-day period in Spotify history, amassing over 101 million streams since it was released on January 12. It’s also become the fastest song to hit the 100 million mark ever.

Along with that, Billboard reports the song ran up 52.6 million streams, 33.5 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 70,000 sold in its first full tracking week from January 13 to 19.

It’s also the first non-holiday song with three consecutive weeks of 40 million streams or more since Olivia Rodrigo did so over the course of four weeks, from May 29 to June 19, 2021, with her smash hit ‘Good 4 U’.
