Miley Cyrus’ mom Tish Cyrus engaged to Dominic Purcell

Miley Cyrus’ mother Tish Cyrus has gotten engaged. The famous mom has said yes to ‘Prison Break’ star Dominic Purcell who proposed in Malibu, California over the weekend.

Cryus revealed the exciting news on Instagram on Sunday, with a photo of the two loved-up couple cuddling up to each other. Tish and Purcell debuted their romance on Instagram back in November 2022.

“A thousand times…. YES @dominicpurcell,” she captioned her post. She also posted a shot of Purcell’s hands on her waist as she shows off her new ring.

The couple isn’t afraid to share their romance on social media.

“Headed into the New Year HAPPY @dominicpurcell,” Tish captioned an Instagram post of them together last December. “Wishing everyone a safe and magical New Years Eve!”

Getting serious

The news doesn’t come as a surprise to some, as reports surfaced earlier this year that Tish and Purcell were getting serious.

“Things couldn’t be going better for Tish and Dominic,” a source told Us Weekly in February. “[Tish] truly feels like she found her soulmate.”

Previous relationships

News of Tish’s romance with Purcell came shortly after her ex-husband, Billy Ray Cyrus, moved on with Australian singer Firerose. The two were initially married from December 1993 to December 2021.

Tish filed for divorce from the ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ singer for a third and final time in April 2022 after 28 years of marriage.

The ‘Hannah Montana’ alum got engaged to singer Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rosie Hodges, in November 2022. The two have yet to tie the knot.

Billy Ray did not give Hodges a ring or official proposal, as the two decided to further their relationship in an unconventional way.

“Billy looked at me and said, ‘Do you, do you wanna marry me?’” the singer recalled to People at the time. “He said, ‘I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.’”

Billy Ray and Tish share three adult children together, Miley, Noah, and Braison. Tish is also the mother to Brandi and Trace from a previous relationship.

As for Purcell, he shares four children Joseph, Audrey, and Twins Lily-Rose and Augustus with ex-wife Rebecca Williamson.
