Miley Cyrus teases new ‘Endless Summer’ announcement
With less than two weeks until Miley Cyrus’s new album, the singer teased a new ‘Endless Summer’ announcement.
Miley Cyrus’s highly anticipated album, ‘Endless Summer,’ is less than two weeks away from dropping, but the singer has given fans something to look forward to in the meantime.
The Grammy-winning singer took to her social media accounts to announce a surprise ‘Endless Summer’ announcement happening at 12:00 p.m ET on Monday, February 26.
In the post uploaded to both the singer’s Twitter and Instagram accounts, Cyrus is laying down in a bright red bikini looking off-camera. She has worn that same suit, for several other promotional photos for the album, which have all been uploaded to her social media accounts.
An upcoming announcement
In her latest post, the singer teases a new special announcement regarding her upcoming album. The pop star shared limited details, only revealing the time of the announcement and the release date of the official album, which had previously been revealed.
Her caption reads, “ENDLESS SUMMER VACATION MARCH 10TH. ANNOUNCEMENT 12 PM ET TOMORROW.” This leaves fans to wonder what exactly new information the singer will be revealing tomorrow.
One popular theory circulating is that the pop star will finally announce the album’s tracklist, along with a second single.
‘Endless Summer’ clues
The singer also seems to be leaving clues about her upcoming album throughout her Instagram posts. Many fans have pointed out that her Instagram captions sound a lot like possible lyrics off the upcoming album.
Less than a week ago, the singer uploaded a photo of herself in the same red bikini with the caption: “I’m driving around town in a beat up old Mercedes, you think I’m crazy. You might be right.”
Cyrus also included the hashtags, “#EndlessSummerVacation” and “#March10,” leading fans to speculate the cryptic caption is lyrics from the upcoming album. Several other of the singer’s posts include captions with lyrics from her previously released single ‘Flowers.’
‘Flowers’ breaking records
‘Flowers’, which was released in December, has dominated the charts and streaming services since. The lead single from the upcoming album has so far spent five weeks as number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
‘Flowers’ has also broken major streaming records, including the record for the most streamed song in a week on Spotify both in its first and second week since its release. The song is also now the fourth most streamed song in a single day for the app.
‘Flowers’ popularity is likely to continue to grow, as the song is still number one on the Billboard chart today.
