Jacob Elordi is one of the most in-demand actors working today. At 28, the Australian performer of Spanish descent has earned his first nomination at the Academy Awards thanks to his outstanding work in Frankenstein, directed by Guillermo del Toro. This weekend he also premieres one of his most anticipated films alongside Margot Robbie, Wuthering Heights.

Even so, Elordi already has a substantial film and television career, with Euphoria likely being his most widely recognized project. However, one standout entry in his filmography is a horror anthology available on streaming with an almost perfect rating, one you may not have heard about: The Mortuary Collection.

Where to watch Jacob Elordi’s highest-rated film

While critics are still beginning to share their reviews of Wuthering Heights, the highest-rated film Jacob Elordi has appeared in so far is the horror anthology The Mortuary Collection. Originally released on Shudder, the film consists of several interconnected stories with a total runtime of under two hours, making it easy to watch in a single sitting like a conventional feature. Most impressively, it holds a 97 percent critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Its official synopsis on the site reads:

“Desperate for work, a young drifter applies for a job at the local mortuary on the outskirts of town. There, she meets Montgomery Dark, an eccentric mortician with more than a few skeletons in his closet. Montgomery chronicles the strange history of the town through a series of twisted tales, each more terrifying than the last.”

Written and directed by Ryan Spindell, The Mortuary Collection features a strong ensemble cast led by Clancy Brown, Caitlin Custer, Christine Kilmer, and Jacob Elordi, along with Barak Hardley, Sarah Hay, Mike C. Nelson, and V Nixie. The result is a terrifying fable that keeps viewers glued to the couch while each of its four stories steadily builds tension and dread.
