Nicki Minaj, and other celebrities, congratulate Rihanna on pregnancy

Nicki Minaj reached out to congratulate Rihanna on her second pregnancy. Who else congratulated the singer?

Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to congratulate Rihanna on her second pregnancy.

Rihanna recently posted a series of photos from a photoshoot for British Vogue of herself and her 9-month-old son. The photos were reportedly taken when Rihanna was unaware of her second pregnancy.

“How crazy both of my babies were in these photos and mommy had no clue,” she wrote.

Nicki Minaj reached out in the comments to say: “a lil pretty boy already. Congratulations on the new bundle of joy, Queen. Bodied Super Bowl.”

Pregnant at the Super Bowl

The R&B singer was confirmed to be pregnant after showing off her baby bump during her Super Bowl halftime performance on February 12.

She gave birth to her first child in May 2022, and was offered the spot to perform at the Super Bowl just three months later.

“My son was only three months old [at the time],” Rihanna told the iHeartRadio podcast. “I haven’t performed in like seven years, 2016 was my last tour – that, to me, was the last time I remember being out there on the stage.

“I miss it. To come back from zero to the Super Bowl is kind of nuts! A challenge gets me excited, and that was the real push for me.”

Other celebrities send love to Rihanna

Nicki Minaj wasn’t the only celebrity to congratulate Rihanna.

After the halftime show, actress Sophia Bush Hughes tweeted: “Soooooo good. The choreography. The lighting and stage tech. And that baby reveal!? What a moment.”

Chris Brown posted “GO GIRL” on his Instagram story.

Zendaya also posted to her Instagram story, but with a picture of herself looking stunned. Meanwhile, Cardi B reportedly sent love Rihanna love from her seat in the stands.
